Alfred Renoleau's (1854-1930) hand-painted ceramics and majolica are prized collector's items. Vibrant colors, fine strokes and county motifs characterize all pieces offered below. They will add grace and flair to your walls. Each piece is unique and signed with the initials AR (Alfred Renoleau) or ARA (Alfred Renoleau Angouleme). Angouleme is the administrative capital of the Charente "departement" within the Centre Atlantique region in the South West of France. Descendants of Renoleau still run a fabric of hand-painted ceramics under the name of Roullet-Renoleau.
