Series of book plate engravings from a folio publised in 1638 by Francois Perrier (1590- 1650), called "Bourguignon", born in Salins, France, active in Rome 1635-1645. Each engraving represents a Roman sculpture many greek gods and goddesses, some nude, some dressed. These prints, signed FP and numbered, are listed in LeBlanc's Manual, vol.II, p 173, #38 - 137. Some foxing and edge toning. Each Engraving is presented on an acid free mat inside and acid free bag. Circa: 1638
